The KWPN Stallion Selection is an annual event at which quality stallions are evaluated in two separate viewings. A stallion’s traits, conformation, ability, lineage, and health are all considered before he may advance to the final step in the selection process: the performance test.
From Farm Workhorse to Olympic Champion. The KWPN is a modern association with a rich history. It was founded at a time when the horse was valued exclusively for its pulling power. That practical function has long since been replaced by others.
The goal of the KWPN is breeding horses that can perform at Grand Prix level of dressage or jumping. In order to reach this goal, a horse must have a good conformation, a functional and preferably attractive conformation/appearance, correct movement and an agreeable character.

KWPN members are entitled to transfer both registration certificates and equine passports to their name using the link below. KWPN-members receive a discount for the transfer of a registered party. You can transfer multiple horses at once.
Numerous highlights during the KWPN Stallion Show 2025. The KWPN Stallion Show is just around the corner. From January 29 to February 2, the world’s largest stallion inspection event will take place. Ticket sales for members start on November 4 at 10:00 a.m., and for non-members a week later, on November 11.
