WXDR-LP is a non-commercial campus radio station licensed to Delgado Community College in New Orleans, Louisiana broadcasting on 99.1 MHz FM and Internet streaming. The station brands itself as Dolphin Radio in reference to the college's dolphin mascot, and airs an eclectic mix of musical genres including rock, hip-hop, blues, country, and jazz, along with syndicated programs.

The University Center (UC) at LSUS serves as the campus hub for student, faculty, and staff activities and is a centerpiece of the LSUS campus. The UC staff maintains up-to-date information on each registered student organization such as its officers or authorized representatives, its purpose, and its adviser.
In fall 2020, the vast majority of the student body was Black or African American (approx. 75.1%), and 12% identified as Catholic. Xavier was also the first U.S. Catholic college to educate both men and women, though the university currently enrolls a student population that is overwhelmingly made up of women (at more than 75%).
