Genesis: In Concert documents the concert tour that Genesis embarked on in 1976, after their album A Trick of the Tail. This was the first album on which Phil Collins assumed the duties of lead vocalist (following the departure of Peter Gabriel). On the album, Collins sings lead vocals and plays drums.
The A Trick of the Tail Tour [1] [2] was a concert tour by English rock band Genesis. This was the first tour after Peter Gabriel left the band, and the only one with Bill Bruford on drums. "A lot of the band thought he could sing better than I did anyway," remarked Gabriel of Phil Collins , who took over lead vocals.
This includes the entire album in remixed stereo, surround sound, and related video tracks. A further DVD release includes audio and video tracks, including an interview with the band, the promotional videos, and the film Genesis: In Concert, filmed during the 1976 tour promoting the album. [42]
