Fox Sports Bay Area (1998–2008) 1998 2012 NBC Sports Bay Area: In April 2007, Cablevision sold its 60% interest in FSN Bay Area to Comcast. The network was rebranded as Comcast SportsNet Bay Area on March 31, 2008, and continued to carry select FSN programming until August 2012. Fox Sports sold its stake in the network to Comcast in April 2008.
The channel was then rebranded as Fox Sports Net Southwest in 2000, as part of a collective brand modification of the FSN networks under the "Fox Sports Net" banner.
