Dont get me wrong, Paul is a good actor. Love him in breaking bad. But the nfs Movie just seems cheesy and overdramatic. Just my two cents. A good car movie (if you can call those a car movie) would be for example "driver"with ryan gosling, or mad max fury road. The second with great built cars, that are functional and without CGI.
And they should focus on exotic cars like a Hot Pursuit style, considering that is really what Need for Speed is actually about. I just wish people would actually understand that, all the people saying "focus on tuner cars" have obviously not even heard of any of the Need for Speed game from 1994-2002.

Basically need for speed most wanted story. You can make it a 2 part movie too. First movie, more entertaing and funny, lossing the car and getting to know the blacklist, kicking most pf them down. Part two, much more serious and dramatic, knocking down major players like top 5 then Razors and his crew.
Heck the Fast and Furious even copy the idea of hooking a car up with helicopter to overcome a giant cliff years later. In Fast Furious 9 they just did it with a jet but same thing over the cliff. So if a large franchise copies idea from low budget Need For Speed movie you know that movie was a hidden gem.
Now, the Need for Speed movie. That was pretty obviously based on the Hot Pursuit games, and the final De Leon race is pretty reminiscent of HP2010. This movie was ENTIRELY about racing. Yes, (spoilers ahead) the protagonist is framed for the murder of his brother, but even then, the entire film is pretty much entirely about racing.
Yeah, it’s worth a watch. You’ll kinda forget about the story but the action is still cool. Good enough for car ppl, a good time killer for others. I think it's awesome because almost all the crashes in the movie were real. Yes, it's worth watching. The movie wasn't one of the best, but it's fun to watch.
The replicas were noticeably cheap and poorly-made, which is really the only thing they needed to get right for such a niche movie, and they failed in that regard. Beyond that, the story is ridiculous and paper-thin, and none of the characters are all that likable or interesting.
I remember spending ages on Forza after watching it trying to recreate the red Agera. Holy, I NEVER noticed it & I’ve watched it multiple times, thx! 521 votes, 23 comments. 152K subscribers in the needforspeed community. Need for Speed is a series of racing games published by Electronic Arts and….
I played a lot of Need for Speed games, but none of them compare to the 2002 game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 in my view. Last I played it was in 2017 on my Windows 7 machine. Now I tried playing it again, but my disk is scratched and I can't read it anymore. Plus, apparently it's a 32 bits app, and those don't run on modern Windows 10/11 ...
