Forsyth County Schools is home to eight outstanding high schools, featuring grades nine through twelve. The district also provides the Academies of Creative Education (A.C.E.), which features three programs: Forsyth Academy, Gateway Academy (6-12 alternative program), and Forsyth Virtual Academy (6-12 virtual program).
Forsyth County Schools is home to 23 outstanding elementary schools, featuring grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. All buildings are new or recently renovated, and include a cafeteria, media center, stage, gymnasium, playground, and outdoor playfields.
