Flagstaff's Pioneer Museum, operated by the Arizona Historical Society, was established in 1963 and is located at 2340 North Fort Valley Road. The following are images of some of the outside exhibits of the museum. The building which houses the museum was built in 1908 with rocks from Mount Elden.
Rika's Roadhouse, the adjacent outbuildings, and property are preserved as the Big Delta State Historical Park. [7] In 1976 the roadhouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places , and the entire cluster was listed as the Big Delta Historic District in 1991.

The Sinagua people [a] were a pre-Columbian culture that occupied a large area in Arizona from the Little Colorado River, near Flagstaff, to the Verde River near Sedona, including the Verde Valley, area around the San Francisco Peaks, and significant portions of the Mogollon Rim country, [2] [3] between approximately 500 CE and 1425 CE.
