Elena Kucharik is an American children's illustrator known for her artwork across the entire line of Care Bears items from the 1980s. [1] She was co-creator of that franchise along with Linda Denham. Kucharik is also an illustrator of the Christian children's book series Little Blessings published by Tyndale House. [2]

[1] They were turned into plush teddy bears and featured in The Care Bears in the Land Without Feelings (1983) and The Care Bears Battle the Freeze Machine (1984) before headlining their own television series called Care Bears from 1985 to 1988.
