Sonora High School (SOHS) is a public high school located at 401 S. Palm Street in La Habra, north Orange County, California. One of seven high schools in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District , Sonora served over 1,944 students in the 2012-2013 school year.
Upon completion of eighth grade, students attend either La Habra High School or Sonora High School. These high schools are part of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. [8] Students may also take an assessment to get into Troy High School in Fullerton, also part of the Fullerton High School District.

SHS's predecessor, the Tuolumne County High School, was opened 1902 or 1903 and held its first classes in the basement of the old Sonora courthouse. [3] [4] In 1915, the Tuolomne County High School was named as the Sonoran Union High School. The school board of trustees voted to rename the school Sonora High School in 1982.
