The Hawaii LGBT Legacy Foundation (HLLF) has announced the lineup of events for Honolulu Pride 2024, with celebrations culminating in the Honolulu Pride Parade and Festival set for October 19.
Sunshine Productions, Inc. presents the “Hawaii Holiday Craft and Gift Fair” from Nov. 1 to Nov. 3 at the Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall located at 777 Ward Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii.
The event, affiliated with the Motor Trend regional auto show circuit since 2000, [1] is produced by the Hawaii Automotive Dealers Association (HADA) and sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank, with the Honolulu Star-Advertiser serving as the media sponsor. The recent event, going into its 42nd year, was planned for March 27-29, 2020.
In-person film screenings are scheduled throughout a three-day weekend, starting on a Friday (which includes an opening reception in the evening) and ending that Sunday (with a red carpet award ceremony shortly after the final screening). Screenings take place at Doris Duke Theatre inside the Honolulu Museum of Art. [5]
HIFF's primary festival is held annually in Honolulu over November, with additional screenings and events held across the Hawaiian Islands of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, Kauaʻi and Maui. The festival also holds a smaller Spring Showcase in March and runs education and industry events throughout the year. [2] In 2018, HIFF welcomed over 44,000 attendees. [3]
