In Season 1, Starscream betrays and tries to kill Megatron in the first episode. Megatron learns about this soon after and kills Starscream in the season finale. In Season 2, a battle between Autobots and Decepticons destroys the Allspark, but Starscream is resurrected by a shard of the Allspark that had been embedded on his forehead.

Transformers: EarthSpark is an animated children's television series based on the Transformers toyline by Hasbro.It was developed by Dale Malinowski, Ant Ward and Nicole Dubuc for the streaming service Paramount+ and sister cable network Nickelodeon.
The series focuses on the Transformers' past on Cybertron before they came to Earth. The series consists of three six-issue mini-series: Volume 1, Volume 2 ("The Dark Ages") and Volume 3 ("The Age of Wrath"). The Age of Wrath ran only for 3 issues due to Dreamwave's bankruptcy.

After being killed by Metroplex, Starscream's spirit causes Trypticon to come back to life. Later, after Megatronus's death and Unicron's defeat, Starscream's spirit reappears behind Optimal Optimus and Optimus Prime, saying that he will be there as well for the new age of peace and prosperity of Cybertron.
