The Old Dowlin Mill, at 641 Sudderth Dr. in Ruidoso, New Mexico, was built in 1868 by Captain Paul Dowlin. The Old Dowlin Mill is the oldest building in Ruidoso. [2] It has also been known as Old Mill, Dowlins Mill, and Lesnetts Mill. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The city hall and library were moved into a new civic center in 1962; the Carnegie Library was transferred to the Edmonds Parks and Recreation Department. In 1973, the Edmonds City Council agreed to lease the library building to the newly formed Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society for the creation of the Edmonds Historical Museum.
