Contrary to earlier edits of this page, the site known as Castle Batch, a small motte-type fortification of probably late 11th or 12th century date, has no direct spatial relationship whatsoever to Weston, since it lies at Worle, 4.7 km to the north-east of Weston's original parish church of St John.

Worlebury Hill is the name given to an upland area lying between the flatlands of Weston-super-Mare and the Kewstoke area of North Somerset, England.Worlebury Hill's rises from sea level to its highest point of 109 metres (358 ft), [1] and the western end of the hill forms a peninsula, jutting out into the Bristol Channel, between Weston Bay and Sand Bay.
The station was opened as Worle on 1 December 1897 by the Weston, Clevedon and Portishead Railway. It was one of the few stations to have basic facilities, a ticket office and a waiting room. It also has a siding which served Worle Gas Works until it closed in 1920, a platform which was later removed and an ungated crossing. [1]

There are currently 1,348 students aged 11 to 16 in the school. [2] The school received media attention [3] in early 2016 after a student was stabbed.
