Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore is a five-star deluxe hotel located on Orange Grove Road, off Orchard Road, in Singapore. [ 1 ] Opened on 23 April 1971, the hotel is Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts ' first hotel property. [ 2 ]
Dutch Pavilion is a building within the grounds of the Shangri-La Singapore hotel on Orange Grove Road in Tanglin, Singapore. Previously the premises of the Hollandse School , it currently serves as a wedding venue.
The Shangri-La Hotel Singapore was managed by Westin Hotels & Resorts, until Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited was founded in 1979, and management of the Singapore Shangri-La was taken back over from Westin in 1984. It was first announced in August 2014 with an expected completion by 2024 but was delayed to 2026 due to COVID-19 pandemic. Contract T301 for the construction of East Coast Integrated Depot, reception tunnels and its associated facilities was awarded to GS Engineering & Construction Corporation at a sum of S$1.99 billion on 21 March 2016.
