Hialeah (/ ˌ h aɪ ə ˈ l iː ə / HY-ə-LEE-ə; Latin American Spanish: [xaʝaˈli.a]) is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States.With a population of 223,109 as of the 2020 census, Hialeah will be celebrating their centennial 100th year anniversary in 2025.
Aerial image, 1940. The Hialeah Park Race Track is one of the oldest existing recreational facilities in southern Florida. Originally opened in 1922 by aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss and his partner, Missouri cattleman James H. Bright, as part of their development of the town of Hialeah, Florida, Hialeah Park opened as a greyhound racing track operated by the Miami Kennel Club.

State Road 826 begins at an interchange with US 1 in Pinecrest, just south of the Dadeland Mall, and heads north as the Palmetto Expressway into Kendall.
Its western terminus is a cloverleaf interchange with the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) in Doral; its eastern terminus is an intersection with US 27 just east of LeJeune Road in the southern tip of Hialeah, just outside the city limits of Miami. Some maps incorrectly indicate a continuation of SR 948 to the east of the intersection with US 27.
