I just purchased a TCL Roku TV 43S425, used with a 10-year-old HR-24. I don't know the DTV remote number (it's worn off the remote face) but the remote does not contain codes to control this tv, after going through the whole search effort and trying the codes listed so far in this thread.
I have a HR21-700 HD DVR, I just received new remote and can not figure out how to program it to operate the HR-21 700. I have followed the instructions with the remote. The RC7x+ remotes (Grey/Genie remote) can only control the Genie/Genie Mini plus the power, volume and mute of a TV. Chances are non-negligible that the TCL remote uses Wi-fi rather than IR to control the TV so it may not be possible to "learn" from it. Other than the $400+ remotes (URC, Crestron), I suspect that the Sofabaton may be one of your very few options as most of the other players in the programmable remote business have walked away.

Use a universal remote (though the suggested system isn't very popular anymore). TCL lists DIRECTV remote sets 11756 and 10706. If those don't work, your next best hope is to contact TCL and see if the TV's code set is the same as some other brand's TV. Because TCL manufactures many brands, they may have used the code set from one of those brands.
The SoloCinema was the only option listed and does not work. I've seen instructions as to how one could step through remote codes of the bigger RC32 remote but nothing for trying extra codes on the RC73. Any insights would be appreciated, Peter
Once there is a tv code, its volume is now in the way, to remedy that, so with yamaha code 30176 and a tv code in: Edmund, I have the TV code programmed to my TV and it works the volume, input, and power on the TV. I am trying to programm AV1 to the receiver and the 30176 code does not work.
