Pokerstars does not handle basic stuff like game crashes or internet outrages in a normal fashion. What normal sites do is make you auto check/fold until you reconnect but Pokerstars VR does not let you rejoin at all.
17 votes, 52 comments. true. I couldn’t disagree more that it’s closer to live play. Sure, you can win your way up to higher stakes tables where the play is better, but the low stakes tables are crazy with kids, crazies going all-in every other hand, and tons of people who play horribly then complain about the algorithm constantly.
For other games and apps aside from Pokerstars VR, I don’t have connectivity issues at all with my Quest 2 headset, in addition to my PS4 and PC, which both operate via wifi internet as well. On the very rare occasion that Im finally able to connect into a Pokerstars VR table, the connection is stable, I’ve yet to get dropped from of a game ...
PokerStars VR First Impressions I downloaded the game as soon as somebody on here posted that it was available, and sat down and played for a half hour over my lunch break. As someone that was sick of the back and forth on whether this game would come to PlayStation or not, let me say: It's legit!!
No, it’s not “rigged.” I don’t think I’ve seen dueling pairs more than a couple times. I think the thing is that the game plays so much faster than real poker and there’s usually 8 people who almost never fold, so you see a lot more hands happen and inevitably a lot more crazy stuff.
Every time I open pokerstars VR the game crashes at the pokerstars VR icon. It'll load for 2-3 seconds with the sound, but then it crashes and sends me back to the main lobby of the oculus. I've tried restarting the oculus, reinstalling the game and looking online but there have been no solution.
Pokerstars VR on PC is insanely better I've played a lot of pokerstars on quest 2, always thought it's a bit blury, and sometimes laggy like opening a slots machine while at a table
