Racing Cars was a Welsh pop band, formed in the Rhondda Valley, Wales, in 1973. [1] Their only hit single was "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?", which peaked at number fourteen in the UK Singles Chart in 1977, and was inspired by the film, They Shoot Horses, Don't They? Touring included dates supporting Bad Company in 1976.

In Concert (also known as BBC In Concert) was a British music television series, broadcast live by the BBC between 1970 and 1976. Each episode consists of a one-hour live performance by a single singer songwriter. [1] [2] [3] The series premiered on 9 October 1970 on BBC Two. It was created, produced, and directed by Stanley Dorfman. [4]
BBC Radio One Live in Concert is a live recording from 1983 by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, released in 1992.This show at the Reading Festival in 1983 came at the end of their farewell tour, and was originally intended to be the band's last concert.

The album is unique as it is Dexys' only live recording where the members of The Projected Passion Revue horn section (Big Jim Paterson, Paul Speare, and Brian Maurice) are present alongside the Too-Rye-Ay strings (Helen O'Hara and Steve Brennan). Immediately after this concert, the horn section left the group and formed The TKO Horns.
