My buddy has a spare copy of Windows 7 that he has graciously given to me, along with the key sitting on my home computer. My issue is the ISO is sitting on the desktop, but when I boot up the Win7 Smart Tool, the ISO itself does not appear on the Desktop folder for Step 1.
Hi, I have recently been having issues with MSI's Dragon Center Live update tool, so much so that I had to instead directly install the AMD drivers. I will go to click either the AMD Chipset Drivers or the Realtek HD Universal Drivers, and it will go to install before popping up a warning on my screen.
I'll be upgrading my PC with new CPU and MSI motherboard. I will be getting one NVMe SSD as a game storage (W7 is on HDD). Can I just install USB 3.0 drivers and NVMe drivers into my current W7 and it will work? Or do i have to use Smart Tool and install fresh one? i downloaded smart tool under win7 64 tab. even if i had downloaded 1.0.0.41.zip. but both are stopped working. below link is same with my case:
Use MSI Smart Tool(or any other tools from mobo manufacturers) to create Win 7 installation pen drive, these tools usually include the NVMe hotfix patches, NVMe drivers, and USB drivers that could fix lots of problems you might encounter.
4) Smart Tool: If you will use the win7, you need the software to create your Windows installation USB flash drive with USB 3.0 drivers, otherwise all USB ports will not work at all. You have to use the PS2 ports for the mouse/keyboard, but the MB only has one. 5) According to MSI, X Boost: allows you to select the system...
