Hi! Was wondering if there's such places like rage rooms ( you go there and pay to break /throw/ destroy stuff) in Germany. To be more specific, in NRW or near Dortmund I need to take out my anger in a controlled space * Danke!
I am looking at starting a rage room in town. I am wanting to do some research before taking the plunge. I can have one open by October/November 2023 as I already have a facility but want to make sure people want to and will pay to use it before I put the investment in.
Wear jeans. Otherwise have to pay for a tyvex suit. They give you one of those see through visors. I spent 110 and i got a couple milk crates of mugs, glasses, trinkets etc,a tv a printer, a pc Tower . they give you the bat or sledgehammer too.
I’d recommend rage room Ohio in Akron even though it’s not in Columbus. I did that with my wife and daughter last summer, 30 minutes, 3 people and they supplied plenty of items themselves and I brought some old household items and the staff was really good. It sucks there isn’t one in Columbus and kind of surprised there isn’t.
Thank you. I came across a couple of rage rooms early last year. It didn't really help me until I eventually got counseling. I got help from my nephrologist who referred me to a psychiatrist. I still have moments of rage when I see something so blatantly unfair but I talk myself out of it with friends and relations.
Rage rooms are actually great. A safe way to release difficult emotions and regulate oneself. When I lost my aunt in 2022, I had so much of anger/grief, the rage room honestly really helped me cope. Unfortunately, there really isn’t any other option available except for the one in Scarborough right now.
If you don’t know, a rage room is basically a room with all kinds of appliances, ceramic dishes, glass, etc. you can pay to destroy in a controlled environment. I’d really like to do something like this but my google searches only turn up one location in Savage, MN.
Hello guys. Wondering if there are any rage rooms nearby proximity that are open. Drop I. Your recommendations
I don't think rage rooms are healthy. While yes - they help you vent out repressed anger, they do so by reinforcing bad behavior. You get a short term burst of relief but you still haven't dealt with the actual cause either.
