The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is a hotel and convention center located at National Harbor, Prince George's County, in the U.S. state of Maryland. [2] The hotel is situated along the shores of the Potomac, downriver from Washington, D.C., and across the river from Alexandria, Virginia.
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at National Harbor opened on April 1, 2008 [9] in what was then Oxon Hill, Maryland. [10] The site was developed by Milton Peterson's Peterson Companies with the project expected to cost well over $ 2 billion, [ 11 ] and a construction time frame of 2007 to late 2014.

MGM National Harbor is a casino hotel in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. It opened on December 8, 2016, and cost $1.4 billion. It is owned by Vici Properties and operated by MGM Resorts International .
Gaylord Hotels is the large convention hotel brand of Marriott International. As of 2024, it consists of five large hotels with a total of 9,918 rooms, along with attached convention centers and one overflow support hotel property, in addition to one hotel with 1,903 rooms in the pipeline. [ 1 ]
Marriott opened in April 2015 the AC Hotel Washington, D.C., with ownership by Ryman Properties in National Harbor, Maryland. [64] In March 2016, Ryman revived its Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center project in a joint venture with RIDA Development and Ares Management, with a 35% stake in the complex to be managed via Marriott.
