Yahoo's trading rules are confusing me, help? trade rules. So I have had a trade offered to someone all week and today (Friday) the person accepted. Our trade consists of Ryan Matthews and Jordy Nelson for Greg Jennings. Jordy and Jennings play on Monday (3 days from today). Matthews played yesterday on Thursday.
10 team league - 2 teams involved in a trade = 8 votes. I believe it takes a majority of 5 votes to veto a trade by default. If you go into the commish settings you can see the number. Straight from Yahoo's website; "Public and Private Leagues require one-third of managers to vote against a trade for it to be vetoed.
While Draft Pick Trades is on, a new "Draft Picks" section appears and you'll be able to select a draft pick from next season while selecting your desired players to trade. Each trade needs to have an equal number of items traded (like 2 draft picks for 2 draft picks). Please note that if the league has yet to draft, you won't be able to make ...
I've been commish for a few years now and normally leave trades up to league vote, unless we agree on commish veto power. In the past, I haven't had any issues, as Yahoo would automatically veto the trade if 1/3 of the league voted against it. However, a trade just went through, and people are asking how many votes there were against it.
Yahoo loosed restrictions with IR due to Covid. If your league started with rules about it so be it. Everyone else can F off play within the rules yahoo / your platform has provided. Players with an O designation shouldn't be allowed on IR, but the apps allow it for some dumb reason.
Yahoo Fantasy: Currently the league settings to approve a trade are league votes, 1/3 of teams needed to veto, 1 day to protest trades. Is there a way for Commissioner to approve it sooner if needed? like if a player is going to play later that day or before the veto period is up? All league members still get notified.
Add a Comment. whiskeymakesmefrisky • 9 yr. ago. It will only work if the trade brings you under or to the roster limit. Since Sims has been activated you can't add/drop anyone until you move him to your active roster. Yahoo will warn you of what you need to do in order to even make the trade request and you will have to comply to send the ...
With yahoo you can drop any player you don't start, even after their game time. So it shouldn't be an issue. So long as any of the players involved in the transaction were not in a starting position, they can be processed. As long as you want, but you can't make any transactions while that player is in your IR slot.
Trading bench players who have already played. Looking to make a deal for Jonathan Taylor today. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if on yahoo would a trade be pushed through before or after this weeks games are played as Jonathan Taylor has already played but on opponents bench. The trade will process this week if the player is on the bench.
YahooFantasyCare. • 2 yr. ago. Public and Private Leagues require one-third of managers to vote against a trade for it to be vetoed. If the number of managers isn't divisible by 3 then the fractional number is rounded up to the nearest whole number to determine how many managers are needed for a veto. All votes are recorded anonymously, so ...
