The Monte Vista Historic District is a neighborhood of about 3,000 people located in Midtown San Antonio, Texas, USA. The district stretches from the southern area near San Antonio College (Ashby Place) to its most northern point along Hildebrand Avenue (near the city of Olmos Park ).
The King William Historic District of San Antonio, Texas was listed on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Bexar County, Texas on January 20, 1972. [1] The area was originally used as farm acreage by the Spanish priests of the Misión San Antonio de Valero, and eventually parceled off for the local indigenous peoples of the area. [2]
Its 2007–2008 congressional delegation consisted of six Democrats and two Republicans. Following the election, the delegation became seven Democrats and one Republican.
