Bhadreswar / b ə ˈ d r ɛ s w ər / is a city and a municipality of Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. [1] It is a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA).
Bhadreswar Municipality covers an area of 8.28 km 2 and has a total population of 101,477 (2011). [2]In 1981, 29.61% of the total population formed main workers and 70.30% were non-workers in Bhadreswar Municipality and 76.75% of the total main workers were industrial workers.
