The Royal Bengal Tiger is a 2014 Indian Bengali psychological action thriller film directed by Rajesh Ganguly, from a story written and produced by Neeraj Pandey. It is based on Chuck Palahniuk's famous novel 'Fight Club'. The film stars Abir Chatterjee, Priyanka Sarkar,and Shraddha Das.
The Bengal tiger is a population of the Panthera tigris tigris subspecies and the nominate tiger subspecies. It ranks among the largest wild cats alive today. It is estimated to have been present in the Indian subcontinent since the Late Pleistocene for about 12,000 to 16,500 years.
Chitwan has the rare distinction of being one of the very few places in the world which contain breeding populations of three big cats outside Africa — the royal Bengal tiger, the Indian leopard and the clouded leopard. Chitwan has the highest population of tigers among protected areas in Nepal.
