Virginia Water is a commuter village in the Borough of Runnymede in northern Surrey, England. It is home to the Wentworth Estate and the Wentworth Club. The area has much woodland and occupies a large minority of the Runnymede district. Its name is shared with the lake on its western boundary within Windsor Great Park.

Cherry Hill (formerly Holthanger and Southern Court), [1] is a modernist style house on the Wentworth Estate in Virginia Water, Surrey, England, designed by architect Oliver Hill and completed in 1935. Originally called Holthanger, it was renamed Southern Court and subsequently Cherry Hill.
It is a small river, once past Virginia Water lake about 3–5 m wide and flows over land which is geologically between the Bagshot and London Formations, where sands and gravel overlie chalk with limited clay, described as "loamy soils with naturally high groundwater". [4]
