Richard James May [3] (September 21, 1940 – April 5, 2020) was a Canadian-American actor, theatrical performer, director, and teacher. [1] [4] [5] May provided the English-language voice for Peppy Hare and Andross in Star Fox 64, the Soldier in Team Fortress 2, and Dr. M in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, among other video game characters.

After Pigma betrays the team, Andross captures James and kills him; Peppy escapes from Venom alive and informs James's son Fox about his father's fate. A few years later, Andross launches an attack across the Lylat system.
