Exploring is an interactive, worksite-based career education program of Learning for Life, an affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America. Participants in the program are called Explorers . The program serves youth in 6th-8th grades (Exploring clubs), and young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old (Exploring posts).
Exploration is an adventure-themed board game for 2–4 players (although there are rules for a 5 player game) in which each player is an explorer who must first organize an expedition of exploration and then set out to successfully complete the adventure.
To set up the game, players each get a Visa game card, a matching coloured scorecard, a skateboard and car upgrades. All players also get some arrow clips and a Lifepod reference card. The career cards are divided among the players, and one is chosen. Players then put an arrow clip on the lowest step of their career ($5,000).
