The Clark County School District (CCSD) is a school district that serves all of Clark County, Nevada, including the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City; as well as the census-designated places of Laughlin, Blue Diamond, Logandale, Bunkerville, Goodsprings, Indian Springs, Mount Charleston, Moapa, Searchlight, and Sandy Valley, as well as Mesquite.
It is the only high school in Clark County to be named after a person. Community College High School East Region 3, Northeast Limited entry program that allows juniors and seniors to take Community College of Southern Nevada (CCSN) classes as their high school electives. Students attend high school classes on the CCSN Cheyenne campus.

In 2010, Silver Rider Transit opened Harry Reid Transportation Center in Laughlin, honoring Senator Harry Reid, since Reid helped secure 3.5 million in funding for the transportation center. The previous transportation center was located with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department substation-jail.

Charleston County School District's (CCSD) Board of Trustees voted to name Dr. Eric Gallien, the Superintendent of Schools effective July 1, 2023. Dr. Gallien is the highest paid CCSD employee in history with a contracted salary of $275,000 with a 2% increase every year. Dr. Gallien is making $28,405 more than former superintendent Kennedy. [1]
