Stanford Stadium is an outdoor college football stadium on the west coast of the United States, located on the campus of Stanford University in Stanford, California. It is the home of the Stanford Cardinal and hosts the university's commencement exercises.
Cal and Stanford met in Berkeley in their first Big Game as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Stanford came out strong with two first quarter touchdowns by Justin Lamson to build a 14-point lead. Maples Pavilion is a 7,233-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of Stanford University in Stanford, California. [2] Opened in 1969, Maples underwent a $30 million renovation in March 2004 and reopened ahead of schedule, in time for conference play that December.
