The border between the Hungary and Slovakia (Hungarian: magyar–szlovák államhatár; Slovak: Maďarská-slovensko štátne hranice) is the international border between the Hungary and Slovakia. It forms a 679 kilometres (422 mi) [ 1 ] arc extending from the tripoint with Austria at the west to the tripoint with Ukraine at the east.
The restoration of Czechoslovakia and the liquidation of the Slovak puppet state in 1945 led to the end of the first period of Hungary-Slovakia's relations. Nowadays, both countries are full members of the Council of Europe, the European Union, NATO and of the Visegrád Group. They share 676 kilometres (420 mi) of common borders.
