Students at Nazareth Area High School in Nazareth, Pennsylvania in 1955. The current high school was first built in 1954 and opened to students on October 3, 1955. It was dedicated on April 8, 1956, to Frederic A. Marcks, a former teacher and the first Superintendent of the Nazareth Area School District, following the merger of the regional districts.
Hyson Campus Center houses the Dining Commons, the Student Life offices, the campus post office, and several classrooms. [16] Ariel Arena is MVNU's athletics facility, opened on November 8, 2013. Connected to the arena is the Prince Student Union, which houses the campus cafe, "The 586.” MVNU also owns several buildings in downtown Mount Vernon.
Founded in 1914, Holy Name was the first Catholic high school in the Cleveland area to enroll both male and female students. The school was originally located on Harvard and Broadway in Cleveland, but in 1977 moved to Queens Highway in Parma Heights, Ohio, to accommodate its growing enrollment. [1]
The new building is located on Friedenstahl Avenue in Upper Nazareth Township adjacent to the high school campus. The school was completed in 2009 in time for the 2009-2010 school year.
