Tin House was honored by major American literary awards and anthologies, particularly for its fiction. A story from the Summer 2003 issue, "Breasts" by Stuart Dybek, was featured in The Best American Short Stories for 2004, [4] and in 2006, "Window" by Deborah Eisenberg was a "juror favorite" in The O. Henry Prize Stories.

Lucy Corin is an American novelist and short story writer. The winner of the 2012 American Academy of Arts and Letters John Guare Writer's Fund Rome Prize, Corin was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2023 and a National Endowment for the Arts creative writing fellowship in 2015.
From 2015 to 2017, Conklin was a Creative Writing Fellow at Emory University, [2] [3] [4] and from 2019 to 2021, they were a Stegner Fellow in Fiction at Stanford University. [5]
