Victor Valley High School is located in Victorville, California, United States.It is the oldest high school in the Victor Valley Union High School District (VVUHSD).. The original campus was located at the former Victor Valley Junior High and University Preparatory School on Forrest Avenue in Old Town Victorville, until the current campus was built in 1952.
It was the first high school to be built in Adelanto; previously students attended Silverado High School and Victor Valley High School in Victorville. [4] By 2008 area residents wanted a local high school, and the Victorville high schools were above capacity. [5]
The former George Elementary School site has reopened in 2017 as a mixed-use facility, starting as the AESD Professional Development Center for PD-Professional Learning Community instruction, as well as the Adelanto Virtual Academy which began operation in 2018–19.
