The Days Ferry Historic District encompasses a rural village that grew around a ferry crossing on the Kennebec River in what is now Woolwich, Maine.The village and ferry were on the main stage route between Bath and Wiscasset until the 1870s, and retains a concentration of well-preserved 18th and early 19th-century houses.

The Woolwich Town House is a historic government building at Old Stage and Dana Mills Roads in Woolwich, Maine. Built in 1837 with federal government surplus funds, it is a well-preserved early 19th-century town meeting house with basically vernacular style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. [1]
Nequasset Lake is the principal water supply for the Bath Water District, which serves the city of Bath and the southern portion of Woolwich. [2] The lake's water is supplied to 15,000 people in 3,000 homes and buildings. The Bath Water District's pump station is a large brick building situated on the southwest end of the lake.
