The same story was also adapted as "Ek Khula Hua Darwaza" by Shyam Benegal as an episode in the 1986 Indian anthology television series Katha Sagar , which also included the episode "Saboon Ki Tikiya" an adaptation of Munro's "Dusk" by Benegal.
