Santolan station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 2 (LRT-2) system in Calumpang, Marikina, near its boundary with Santolan, Pasig. It is situated along the Marikina–Infanta Highway. Opened in 2003, the station served as the eastern terminus of the line until LRT-2 East Extension was opened in 2021. [1]

Marikina–Pasig station was constructed as part of the Line 2 East Extension, which calls for a 3.8-kilometer (2.4 mi) extension eastward from Santolan station and the construction of two stations. [10] The station during its inception was called "Emerald", but was renamed as "Marikina" in January 2021 prior to its opening.
There are 63 operational stations on the Greater Manila Area's rail network, with 38 from the LRT's two lines, 13 from the MRT's one line, and 12 from the PNR.
