Sintok is a small town located in the Kubang Pasu District, Kedah, Malaysia. It is best known as the location of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), one of the prominent public universities in the country. Sintok lies approximately 52 kilometers from Alor Setar, the state capital, and about 12 kilometers from Changlun.
Mohd Fo'ad bin Sakdan is a Malaysian academic who has served as the tenth Vice Chancellor of Universiti Utara Malaysia since 2023, succeeding Haim Hilman Abdullah. [1] [2] [3] On November 8 2024, it was announced that Fo'ad was reappointed to the position as UUM's Vice Chancellor. [4]
