Waves has its roots in an intra-college festival organized in 2005. Waves was first organized as an inter-college festival in 2006, which was then a regional cultural festival in Goa. Quark is the annual international techno-management festival of BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus. It usually takes place in early February, and has thousands of participants. Launched as a local event in 2006, Quark became a national event in 2008. Since then, Quark has consistently seen participation from colleges across India.
The temple is located at the campus of BITS Pilani Goa at Sancoale. It is built out of white makrana marble. It is built in a Nagara style, and has five shikharas (temple towers). The main deities worshipped here are the couple Radha Krishna. [2] The Birla Radha Krishna Mandir in Goa was constructed by the Birla family and inaugurated in 2023.
