The article says that the new m3 will have either an automatic or smg tranny, indirectly saying that it wont have a manual option.. i find this very, very hard to believe.. the m5 has smg standard, but there is a 6 speed manual option at no extra cost, and i think it will be the same for the new m3.. and im not so sure about the x-drive on the ...
