Bonifacio Global City is part of Taguig's barangay Fort Bonifacio. Prior to the creation of such barangay in 2008, it was part of barangay Ususan. Previously, it was also claimed by Makati as part of its barangays Post Proper Northside and Post Proper Southside, both part of the Embo barangays that were eventually transferred to Taguig in 2023.
The Enlisted Men's Barrio, commonly known as Embo (stylized in all caps), refers to the collective term for ten barangays in Taguig, Philippines.
