The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa, is a historic hotel in Mobile, Alabama. The current structure was built in 1908 as the Battle House Hotel . It is the second hotel by that name to stand in this location, replacing an earlier Battle House built in 1852, which burned down in 1905.
The mill was in operation until the 1970s. In 1974 it was purchased by James L. Miller and converted into a dinner theater. John and Alice Blakemore bought the building in 1996 and opened it as a restaurant. In 2006, new owners Lance and Susan Cuffle opened a bar and restaurant and operated a seasonal haunted house. The David Whitney House is a historic mansion located at 4421 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. The building was constructed during the 1890s as a private residence. It was restored in 1986 and is now a restaurant. [3] [4] The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. [5]
