A codeshare agreement, also known simply as codeshare, is a business arrangement, common in the aviation industry, in which two or more airlines publish and market the same flight under their own airline designator and flight number (the "airline flight code") as part of their published timetable or schedule.
A list of the Codeshare agreements the airline has with other airlines is to be included. It is generally a subsection of the destinations section. Please do not include the alliance information of the partner airlines. [4] Also, flags are not to be used when listing codeshares. [5]
Benefits can consist of an extended network, often realised through codeshare agreements. Many alliances started as only codeshare networks.
