Pleasant Grove, originally named Battle Creek, is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States, known as "Utah's City of Trees". It is part of the Provo – Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area . The population was 37,726 at the 2020 Census.

Pleasant Grove High School was built in 1922 to serve white students in grades eight to ten. It became an elementary school in 1962, and closed in 1971 to comply with county desegregation requirements. Parts of the school were later demolished, though the cafeteria/gym wing remained and today function as the Pleasant Grove Community Center. [4] [5]
In 1900 Sam Street's map of Dallas County showed Pleasant Grove as a small community with a store. In 1916 the first brick schoolhouse was built. In 1937 Pleasant Grove formed its own school district, which by the late 1940s had fourteen buildings. Due to a post-World War II housing boom, the population grew from 120 to 3,500 between 1943 and 1952.
The Realm Town is an upcoming fantasy adventure theme park in Pleasant Grove, Utah. It first opened to the public as Evermore Park on September 29, 2018, under the direction of Ken Bretschneider.
