Okuyasu Nijimura [f] is one of the two Nijimura brothers who became friends with Josuke Higashikata and Koichi Hirose after encountering a Stand user who murdered his brother. His Stand is The Hand, [ g ] which can erase whatever it swipes with its right hand and can even be used to erase space, drawing objects closer to Okuyasu.
Josuke quickly restores Hayato and heals Okuyasu who seems to have died. Josuke refuses to accept Okuyasu is dead as he uses Crazy Diamond on the road debris in his wounds to dodge Kira's air bomb as he and Hayato retreats into a nearby house, with Kira deeming Josuke as a true threat to himself.
Josuke's act of healing Okuyasu is rewarded when the latter helps him rescue Koichi while not intending to stand in their way of searching for the bow and arrow. Okuyasu's father is a bizarre creature that can regenerate rapidly, rendering him immortal. He was mutated by a flesh bud made from Dio's cells after the latter's death at the hands of Jotaro. At first, Okuyasu and Keicho plotted to kill their father to relieve him of his suffering, creating Stand users via the Bow and Arrow for this very purpose.
