The TCB Band is a group of musicians who formed the rhythm section of Elvis Presley's band from August 1969 until his death in 1977 [1] (depending on the context, the nickname may also extend to Presley's background vocalists during that same period: the Imperials, the Sweet Inspirations, and JD Sumner and The Stamps Quartet).
"Takin' Care of Business" has been used in multiple television shows and films, giving the song more recent popularity. TCB is a tribute album to Reyne's idol Elvis Presley, with Reyne explaining: "Elvis and his guys – his 'inner circle', his bodyguards – they used to give each other these little key rings and badges with TCB on them and they'd say 'Yeah, we're takin' care of business'."
