The MCM Comic Con London (formerly known as the London Movies, Comics, and Media Expo, London MCM Expo, and MCM London Comic Con) is a speculative fiction fan convention held at the ExCel London twice yearly since 2002, usually on the last weekend in May and October.
In 2004, London Film & Comic Con was held at Wembley Exhibition Centre before being moved to Earls Court in 2005. LFCC was hosted at Earls Court every year until 2014 with the exception of 2012 when it was hosted in Olympia due to the London Olympics. In 2015, LFCC made a full-time move to Olympia as Earls Court was demolished.
This is a list of multi-genre conventions. [nb 1] These cons typically do not cater to one particular genre (i.e., anime, science fiction, furry fandom, etc.), but instead cover the gamut of these pop culture phenomena without specifying itself as a specific convention of that variety.
As of 2024, England is host to four long-running, large annual conventions – the MCM Comic Con London (est. 2002), the London Film and Comic Con (est. 2004), the Thought Bubble Festival (est. 2007), and The Lakes International Comic Art Festival (est. 2013).

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and a restructuring of MCM after a buyout from Reedpop, MCM scaled back their UK conventions to just MCM London and MCM Birmingham. ACME (who organised Rai Con for several years prior) announced they would be taking over hosting a comic con event at the SEC with two events, one in March and one in September. [1] [2]
