Sydney Printmakers was an association of artists, founded in 1961, [1] to further the art of print-making. It marked a renewal of interest in the technique after a lull of two decades occasioned by a boom in etching which began in the late 1930s.

Malpiya Davey, also known as Irpintiri Davey, is an Aboriginal Australian artist from Pukatja, South Australia. She is best known for her ceramic artworks, but she also does painting, printmaking and weaving. Davey works for Ernabella Arts, the community arts co-operative in Pukatja.
Senbergs has had many survey exhibitions, including Imagined Sites – Imagined Realities at the Heide Museum of Modern Art in 1993, Jan Senbergs Drawing at Ballarat Fine Art Gallery in 2006, which went on to tour regional Australia in 2007, and Jan Senbergs: From Screenprinter to Painter at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in 2008.
Arnold studied art and teaching in Melbourne, [3] and worked as a high school teacher until 1976 when he left to pursue further study at Chisholm Institute. After moving to Tasmania in 1983 he taught art at the University of Tasmania. [2] During the 1990s, Arnold spent time in France further developing his printmaking work. [2]
