Golden Township is a civil township of Oceana County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,660 at the 2020 census . The township is home to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes , and is located along the shore of Lake Michigan .
In December 2011 the airport, city of Lansing, and DeWitt Township received Next Michigan Development Corporation – or Aerotropolis – designation, designed to encourage economic development within 1 mile (1.6 km) of the airport. The plan includes a 50-year 425 land, tax, and services agreement between the city and township. [83]
