This example shows Chernoff faces for lawyers' ratings of twelve judges. Chernoff faces, invented by applied mathematician, statistician, and physicist Herman Chernoff in 1973, display multivariate data in the shape of a human face. The individual parts, such as eyes, ears, mouth, and nose represent values of the variables by their shape, size ...
Height of Face: Diligence Width of top half of face: Case flow managing Width of bottom half of face: Prompt decisions Length of Nose: Preparation for trial Height of Mouth: Familiarity with law Curvature of Mouth (abs < 9) Sound oral rulings Width of Mouth: Sound written rulings Height of Eyes: Physical ability Distance between Eyes (.5-.9 ...

A logarithmic chart allows only positive values to be plotted. A square root scale chart cannot show negative values. x: the x-values as a comma-separated list, for dates and time see remark in xType and yType; y or y1, y2, …: the y-values for one or several data series, respectively. For pie charts y2 denotes the radius of the corresponding ...
A chart map represents each geographic feature with a statistical chart, often a pie chart or bar chart, which can include a number of variables. Each chart is usually drawn proportionally to a total, making it a multivariate symbol. Chernoff faces have occasionally been used in maps since the 1970s, generally in an experimental situation.

This template creates a vertical bar chart for a set of data of your choosing, for example, charting population demographics of a location. Up to twenty graphical bars can be used along with specified colors. The graph's width is set by default, but can be changed, as well as the large and small scales.
